Happy Labor Day to our American readers and Happy Monday to everyone else! To celebrate, Charlie and I are going to send two readers a valueless prize! Friend of the blog Sara sent me three figurines a while back and I was at a loss as to what to do with them. Then I realized: surely one of you will get more enjoyment out of them. I’m keeping the Deanna Troi one, but someone is getting a Beverly Picard one, and someone else is getting an Intendant Kira one.

Oh man, I need an Intendant Kira to fight the Lwaxana Troi I bought back in the 90s!

There are a lot (and I mean a lot) of funny/bad Bev moments that I love, but I’ll go with something actually cool… but still funny. In “Remember Me” she has the best crazy, self-centered line when she says, “If there’s nothing wrong with me, maybe there’s something wrong with the universe.” Except it turns out that she’s right and it’s incredible.
